Kitchens are the most complex room in the house; they blend comfort and function. Our team particularly enjoys their design and execution. We provide custom kitchen design services, cabinetry, wood countertops, furniture, and installation.
Our Kitchen Standards
Design Cohesion
Vintage offers custom kitchen design services tailored to your individual home and project. We often design hybrid cabinetry/furniture combinations, incorporating furniture details into our cabinetry.
All of our kitchen projects are crafted with the very best materials and German hardware, allowing us to offer any hinge style and a myriad of other details.
We use Coldren Hardware for special historical projects, and in our 1 3/8″ door line.
Cabinet Standards
- In our two lines of cabinets, we make our face frames and doors 1″ and 1 3/8″ thick, giving the face frames and doors a heavier, furniture-like feel.
- German adjustable hinges are used for the 1″ line, and traditional hinges are used for the 1 3/8″ line.
- All doors and drawers are inset. We do not offer overlay type cabinetry.
- Drawers are assembled with durable, dovetailed joinery.
- Cabinets are made from solid cabinet grade plywood or solid wood – never particle board. We can use any wood variety.
- We can provide accurate historical details, including beaded openings and drawer panels, decorative hinges, or panel molding replication.
- Using a spray booth, we offer extensive finishing capabilities, including faux finishing and traditional finishes.
- We combine cabinetry face frames for no joints. The base and upper units are built as one, to your space. There are no fillers used between adjacent cabinets.
Wood Countertops
We recently began making wood countertops in our Vintage Workshop and are excited to offer the beauty of natural wood in the kitchen.
Wood counters work well for a warm and traditional look, or as a unique accent.
